Agile Technologies® was founded in 1997 by an executive of Apprise Corporation, a division of Crum & Forster Insurance. The original client companies where ex-affiliates of the Crum & Forster organization. Soon after the creation of Agile Technologies® other members of Apprise joined the Agile team to create the foundation of the firm.
The organization began as a privately held company and remains so today. We believe that this enables us to focus solely on creating value for our clients and eliminate the pitfalls associated with serving shareholders.
Since its inception, Agile Technologies® has implemented a Plan-Build-Support business model. This model was built to share accountabilities and to eliminate the hand-offs approach created when projects are transitioned from one group to another. The model also enables us to live true to our mission statement.
